Should she have let her son meet his dying dad?

- I lost my mother when I was 8. She was everything to me. My father left when I was 1 1/2 years old. If I had a choice and MY father was dying, I would want to make that connection with him. I remember being young in the 70's and even then kids in Elementary school would call me a b@$t*rd.
